Martha has painted a scene of dour ladies collecting bush fruits, witchetty grubs and honey ants. The ladies are represented as u-shapes, drawing on the visual language of sandpainting, where the u represents the shape left in the sand by a seated person. They are adorned with coolamons, digging sticks and body paint.
