"Most of my family are artists and when we go out hunting or with family we get stories from them. Used to go out hunting with my grandma and my aunties, looking for goanna or some bush tuckers out sandhill areas, sometimes we collect bush medicine. That's why I like to paint sandhills. It reminds me of going out hunting there. That's where we get bush leaves for newborn babies to smoke them, out in sandhills there is more green leaves. I’m painting sandhills just round here, Alekarenge. When we go for walk around we see them hills."
